We interview our colleague Agus Bustamante, project developer, to know him better and to know about his experience in the company.
- For those who don´t know you, how would you describe yourself?
I would say that I am nice and friendly. I´m not very talkative because I´m a bit shy, but in the end, I just let it go. I like to joke and don’t get angry.
- Can you give us an overview of your career from the beginning to nowadays?
Before joining Fagor I worked as a programmer in another company for 5 years. I started programming in COBOL, an old language but one that continues to resist like a titan. After a few years arose the opportunity to change to the department of web technologies and I used the advantage to train and work in front and back-end. Thanks to that knowledge, when I saw the offer from Fagor I decided to sign up, so that in January 2019 started my story as a programmer here.
- What is your greatest achievement in the position you hold?
I would say having been involved in the Control Tower developments that are related to the ordering module. It is something that is continuously evolving and grow.
- How is the working environment with your colleagues in the company?
There is a very good atmosphere, honestly. We´re serious when we´re working, but we joke with each other and treat each other as friends. From time to time we meet up for lunch and a drink.
- What do you like to do in your free time?
I like to do and watch sports. Someone will laugh because right now I don´t do anything, but kid at home takes a lot of time. Also, I like video games, but it happens to me the same as with sport, the baby “don’t let me”. So, what I currently enjoy most in my free time is being with my son.
